We couldn't be diswayed from making it to the very point. Not the mosquitos nor the distance..... we hiked on and were rewarded by the view, the rocks, the wildflowers growing out of the very limestone itself. (I think that it's limestone. Someone said the peninsula's full of the stuff.) It's great to get referrals for yet new & wonderful sights to see. After all we've only been up here over a 15 year period of time. Go figure.
