We awoke early today and found ourselves shivering. We'd heard that FL was about to experience the coldest weather in over eight years. So we went to bed prepared to wear our sweatshirts upon awakening. Much to our chagrin, when we awoke, predawn, it was because our little house was REALLY cold -- as in the power had-gone-out-in-the-middle-of-the-night cold. Some reports I heard said that it had gotten down to 19 degrees!! Good golly, Miss Molly. Perhaps we need to head on down to the Keys, or back to Aruba? Now, there's an idea. The good news, is that after a superlative effort to find WI-FI at our local McDonald's, Arby's, Cracker Barrel and Sleep Inn, we received a call from our neighbors that power had been restored. Just in the nick of time. Warmer days are ahead, I'm just certain.
