Jungle and Zoo Themes in Children's Projects

photo of: Jungle Animal Art Projects for Young Children (RoundUP via RainbowsWithinReach)

Jungle Animals.
Zoo Creatures.
Exotic and wild.
Simple projects.

Take a look at this 'mosaic' jungle collaboration bulletin board that was on the wall in Cinci. It is the inspiration for today's RoundUP of jungle projects.

From the jungle to the zoo.
Which theme do you use?

Take a look at this stellar DIY matching game for zoo animals.

Here's a close up of a few of the animals being matched.
Die-cut a set of animals using scrapbook paper.
Laminate poster with one of each animal in place.
Affix velcro.
Laminate the 'extra' animal and apply its velcro hook.

VOILA!
From my brilliant friends in Taylor Michigan.

Wait till you see this lion mask that was on display this past weekend during my visit to Montgomery, Texas. Paper plate. Crepe paper. Pipe cleaners.

AWESOME! BRILLIANT!
Kiddos could have such fun with a mask of this sort to 'perform' my song:
"Lion Prowl."

I've gathered up some images from a variety of articles here in the past.

We'll get started with some of my favorite "lion" projects.

Now, let's mix it up a bit and add in some tigers for diversity.
