I have a cyber-TON of images to share with you as you consider getting your new school year 'organized.' I've gone through some of my old articles and also my old memory cards in search of inspiration to help get your new year off to an amazing start! I am an author-illustrator making school visits around the country sharing my traditional picture books. While on site I take hundreds of photos to share with you here! Sit back. Lots to consider. First let me show my three 'babies.' They are the catalyst for my travels.
I'm thrilled to have won the national INDIE Award of Excellence for my newest book. "Red, White and Blue" was chosen as the independent picture book of the year upon its debut. Now that you have a glimpse into my 'back-story' let the organization ideas begin!
The very first thing on your teacher agenda is to find out who is about to come into your classroom. Making a connection -- connecting names to faces is the first step! As a visitor in and out of buildings, I'm always THRILLED when children have a name-tag and I can greet them on a first name basis. Behold. Name tags.
