TUESDAY TWITTER CHAT with your #TeacherFriends CONTINUES!
Last week we set some new records for our weekly Twitter chat.
We had $7000 worth of prizes from dozens and dozens and dozens of vendors.
There were sooooooooooooo many winners!
It turns out that $7000 worth of incentive does indeed bring teachers together.
It was crazy fun to learn that our hashtag TRENDED!
Yes. We were the number ONE hashtag in the USA
during our hour together.
We were also the number THREE globally used hashtag!
My head is still spinning.
Yet more exciting than all of that?
We have the real gold.
In our spotlight tonight, is our #GuestEduCelebrity:
Dr. Nicki Newton.
Be sure that you follow her ahead of time at her own '@' sign:
so that you will be certain to see all of her insight.
She is the queen bee of all things math
and has entire publications to share with her insight.
Tonight, one lucky winner will receive a copy of her,
Guided Math in Action K-5 edition.
Here are the questions designed to help you gain insight and support.
We tweet in the Eastern Time Zone,
so plan accordingly for the midwest and western time zones.
We always like to have a power house summer,
when time may theoretically be slightly more available.
Take a look at our guests over the coming couple of weeks.
Set your alarm.
Bring a friend.
Arrive at 8:30 PM EST for the EarlyBirds portion of the evening.
That is when we are available for hand-holding and coaching on how to use Twitter!
AFTER THE CHAT
you will want to be sure to join the FB study group that is doing a book study together.
Here's an article from my friend Maggie's blog.
Here's insight from my friend Cindy's blog.
And now you know why we call it
