77+ Word Walls and Environmental Print in ECE Classroom!

It is time to get excited about the new school year! 

I am STILL reflecting on last year. 

There are still hundreds of pictures from my school visits that have yet to see the light of day. 

I ended last year with an amazing day on site with Maria of Kinder Craze fame. 

At the time, it was just moments before her wedding! 

Taking a quick look back through my photos, I realize that I never got these added. 

Maria's 'word wall' is truly EPIC! 

It is truly a word wall with environmental print as well.

It was truly a blessing to be the subject of Maria's camera capability. 

She has so very many images of my 'performance' time together with her students.

WORD WALLS! SIGHT WORDS! Environmental Print: OH MY!

WELCOME! Chances are this is your first visit here and I am so thrilled you've found me! I'm an author-illustrator making school visits around the country. I *LUV* to share the excellence in early childhood education that I see while out on the road. One peek at my picture books before we get started. 

Today I've culled back through my photo files to provide this latest RoundUP. Summer is the perfect time to reflect on your own practice and brainstorm for the year ahead! Last time I counted there were 77 examples included. I will continue to add more as I discover them in my files this summer. I'm starting with the most simple and preschool walls-of-words. Many at the beginning include photos and children's names. Things then get more involved and sophisticated. Next. There are quite a few different examples of 'POPCORN Words.' Then come word-walls in the Art Room. YUM! I conclude with examples of Environmental Print.
