WELCOME! Hardworking teachers. This RoundUP of Back-to-School Bulletin Boards and Decorated Classroom Doors is my gift to you. I am a music-lady morphed into a picture book Author-Illustrator and I make school visits all around the country. 

Here's a peek at my three picture books! As a self-published author, I am thrilled to introduce you to my "babies." The text of each book has the lyrics to an original song I have written and recorded. So there is a CD insert included in the back of each book. The book's end notes include support materials of both music notation and a sign language chart!  I make the illustrations from fabric! TA-DA! Here they are!!!

When I am on location I take as many photos as time will allow in between my presentations. This blog is a running journal of my school visits. I LUV to share a glimpse of the excellence in early childhood education that I am able to observe. 

I can see that the interest in other teacher's bulletin boards is HIGH on your list of searches. So I have gone back through gazillions of photos in my collection to find those that pertain to kicking off a new school year. As of this minute there are already over 200 different ideas. Today's collection starts with Preschool BTS ideas, runs all the way through 6th grade and has ideas for the 'specials' of Art and Music, too! Tell your friends!

These next two bulletin boards of welcome {the first in Ohio and the second in FL} were created in response to my picture book, "You're Wonderful." The lyrics of the song/text of my book, start off 'I think you're wonderful. I think you're marvelous.......' 
It's a great launch-the-year song, full of affirmation and adjectives galore!

They are often created in honor of my arrival for my school visit!
