Rainbow Artwork Tshirt
One of the classes of K-kids had created their own art-filled tshirts to wear for the final "Arts Festival Day." You know my penchant for rainbows. This one is just so very incredible. All the colors. Great smile.
St. Matthew: Art Festival
The last day of school for the 2008-09 school year, my 13th year as music-lady, have guitar-will-travel. My invitation today took me for a return trip to St. Matthew Catholic School in Gahanna. These are the morning kindergarten students...... eager to get started. Keeping their eyes WIDE open, getting ready for surprises.

Fun Before Bed
Take a look at each of these cutie-patooties. Everybody's having a ball. FRESH AIR!! Good for the soul.
Side-Walk Chalk Writing
I went over to "Babytown" to help wrestle everyone into jammies. With the sun still being so glorious, just before bed, we just couldn't resist a few minutes of fresh air for everyone. Notice how Trevor is now completely up and mobile. Everybody had fun leaving their mark-on-the-world.

OAEYC Saturday, Booth
Here's a glimpse into the second day's fun, back at my booth. That last picture includes much of my first fanclub, from up in and around the Ashland area, back-in-the-day participants from our ongoing "Arts" training with Enrique Feldman of FAME Foundation. If you look closely you can see that Donna is holding their "Step Up" award, that they'd just received at the banquet of the event. Congratulations friends. It's wonderful to have been part of your professional process.
Grand Finale Adoration
At the end of the workshop, somebody got out their camera to get a picture of the two of us together. Then out popped another camera, and a phone camera and another and another. Suddenly we were engulfed with popping flashes. Wow. I really felt like I'd arrived. Two home grown presenters, making good in a wider world...... me, on the coat tails of the master. No one's looking in the same direction in any of the pictures -- because there were so many cameras popping. Fun. Fun. Fun.
Slant Dance with MIMI!!
What a grand way to sing and dance about the slants that are found in our letters! Mimi had arrived, just in the nick of time to join me "on stage" for our big slanting extravaganza. What joy...... to have the "QUEEN of Movement" leading the fun. I think you can see the enthusiasm in our participants faces. Truly a delightful milestone for me professionally. Mimi has so often been gracious enough to invite me to share her stage and spotlight. It was a little school girl's dream, to be able to turn the tables for a change and have her join me with my peeps. Yippee skippie!!
