Enthusiastic Pollywogs
It's so much fun to be singing about pollywogs -- when I'm looking into a fishbowl filled with actual, real live, swimming tadpoles!! Spring has arrived for certain: Metamorphosis!!
St. Paul: Artist in Schools
The end of the school year is drawing near..... it's time for my annual end-of-the-year visit to my kindergartners @ St. Paul School. I always look forward to this day!! The students are so eager, always excited, completely eager -- totally respectful. Well, those are the attributes of many of the kindergartners that I see, but these classes are just superlative in every way. Maybe it's the teachers that I'm especially fond of visiting?? Here we are getting warmed up & this group is on a Lion Prowl.

Mrs. K's Tollhouse
Silver Spring. Another memorable meal -- this time in an 'historic' setting. We learned that this site was Eleanor Roosevelt's favorite -- back in the day, when it was out in the country. We concluded with the sharing of various desserts, hugs in the parking lot and everyone headed out in their own direction. We always marvel at how much the four adults have in common. Of course the obvious for the two mommies is that we share the same first name, but there's also our mutual interest in quilting and special needs children, too!
Ceremony Festivities
Pomp and flourishes. One of the lovliest parts of the ceremony is that as each candidate was presented for their degree there was a personal vignette read for that recipient -- written by their supervising professor. This was so insightful and inspirational.
