#TeacherFriends Twitter Chat: Celebrate Writing with Randee Bergen

Tuesday's on the horizon!
Time to join your #TeacherFriends for a Twitter Chat.

What? You're still sitting on the sidelines?
Haven't joined us yet?

Make the decision to join us this week!
You'll be glad that you did.

We have Randee Bergen in the spotlight this week
as our #GuestEduCelebrity!

Our topic for the evening is:
"Celebrating the Writing Process."

We started out last summer as a 'practice' chat and my goal was to have a warm fuzzy place for people to learn how to enter the BIG chats: to grow their PLN {Professional Learning Network} and have support 24/7.

We've grown into something pretty amazing.

In an effort to continue to support newbies taking the plunge, we continue to gather 30 minutes ahead of time for a VERY informal ramp up, that we call EarlyBirds.

I lob out a couple of easy-peasy questions and you answer with our hashtag #TeacherFriends.

Because we have gathered so many friends, the chat feed can indeed get moving VERY VERY fast. Like greased lightening! Knowing that going in is helpful.

Last week was our second chat to "trend" and our hashtag was just behind PLUTO!

In a further effort to support newbies, I've been getting the questions for the evening outlined for you to chew on ahead of time. You are WELCOME to schedule your responses in the minute(s) that follow each question.

Most of us use Tweetdeck.com [FREEEEEEE] to schedule our responses. You set up a 'column' with our hashtag and that helps you to read/scroll through all of the responses. Just know that you won't be able to keep up in real time.... especially once you start answering.

Bring a friend. That always makes things more fun.

We always have prizes and this week is no exception.
Be sure to get your name and info into the Google Doc that will be tweeted beginning at 8:30 PM EST. Another reason to arrive earlier.

The newest news in our ongoing growth and evolution is that our chat is now accepting paid sponsorships. The sponsors will receive visibility for their product or service, on slides tweeted during the course of the chat.

All four of us are grateful to PHUN Homework
for taking our very first PAID SPONSORSHIP!
