TWITTER DIRECTORY for Primary Grade Tweeps

My Saturday series of Twitter Directories continues! Today is the link up for those who tweet from the 1st, 2nd or 3rd grade insight. Classroom teachers, bloggers, consultants or parents who surf the hashtags: 1stchat, 2ndchat, 3rdchat are welcome to add your Twitter URL!

The more you find folks on Twitter to follow that are specific to your niche, the more helpful your Twitter stream becomes, the more you are empowered.

Know your hashtags! Get added to the primary grades Twitter Directory!

This week because of Twitter, I had the opportunity to attend the #Kinderchat's evening Campfire. Like a webinar. Conversational. Insightful. Real time. Collegial. UBBER informative. All because I have made an effort to 'get-to-know' the tweeps in the #kinderchat stream. This week's campfire was 'all-things-tech' in an "Ask Matt" format.

The webinar has been saved and can be viewed by clicking on this link. All manner of things were discussed including Matt's favorite apps for kindergarten.

Here are the two initial directories in this ongoing series.
Just click the image to go to those earlier directories.
By all means, add your Twitter URL to either or both, if those areas are your focus and interest.

As a self-published author/illustrator of children's picture books, I can use all the connections that I can generate. I probably have the biggest 'following' with the kinder-peeps, but I'm thrilled to have make school visits to the mature primary grades as well.

Author-Illustrator School Visit: Artist Residency "Red, White and Blue" Patriotic Response

I just had the opportunity to make a visit to first graders in South Carolina. First in the multi-purpose room with the entire grade level gathered, and then a visit to a classroom where we had more of an 'artist-in-residence' experience and the firsties created their own quilt squares in response to my picture book, "Red, White and Blue" in anticipation of Veteran's Day.

In fact in just a couple of weeks, I will be a part of a presentation at NAEYC in the very rare first-to-third grade tract, co-presenting with Della a first grade teacher and Jessica a third grade teacher. Our presentation title is,

"Make Stories Unforgettable by Integrating Music, Drama, Dance and Art."

Last spring I got to make a classroom visit to blogger, Hilary of "Rockin' Teaching Materials" 2nd grade classroom. If you want to take a tour around her room, go back in time to this earlier article. That was the collaborative quilt that hung on their bulletin board in anticipation of my arrival. It's a THRILL to work with mature students from time-to-time!

Here's the digital version of my song,
"Red, White and Blue"
perfect for your US Veteran's Day observation.
It will come in a zipped file, with 2 Mp3 versions included.

BTW. Here's my Pinterest Directory that is applicable.
It already has over 200+ Primary Pinners listed!
Are you in that directory?

NOW LET'S GET THIS TWITTER PARTY STARTED!

Please leave your favorite primary education hashtags in the comments below and that, too will help us 'find' one another.

***This directory is intended for your TWITTER URLs ONLY. Please link to yours directly. Any blogs, stores, or other networks will be deleted.

If for some reason this doesn't make sense, or you need to me to add yours to the directory, you can always tweet to me directly at @Kweezlequeen.

Be sure to stop back later to follow those who link up after you. By all means your sharing the directory, through any networking will be greatly appreciated. The LINKY is designed so that you may transport the entire list to YOUR blog -- which will help it grow.
