FRIDAY!!! FINE MOTOR FRIDAY!!!
Fine Motor Leads to Fine ARTS, Part 35
WELCOME
Those of you that know me know that I have two quirkie little bits that I adore:
Polka Dots
and
COLOR!!!!
Imagine my sheer delight upon seeing these masterpieces on the preschool bulletin board!
Open Ended Art Exploration in Preschool!!!
Use marshmallows as painting brushes!
Gotta LUV it.
Gotta LUV it!
As I reflect on all of this happy color I'm actually in Atlanta at NAEYC!!!
Today will be a huge day. I am joining Connie Dow for her presentation, "Moving is Learning."
Here are a few glimpses of the happy hug fest that's been going on at my booth! The five beauties below are regular authors at our collaborative blog, PreK +K Sharing!
The super-uber-cyber TeachPreschool author and PreK+K contributor, Deborah Stewart, drove in later in the day and arrived while Mary Jo Huff and I were still in our annual skull session.
We had lots to share and plan for the future expansion of our collaborative blog as it morphs into its dot com, cyber store catalog with Early Education Emporiums open to all phase. Many more developments in the future, including a speakers bureau capable of contributing a stellar roster of speakers for your event!
Guess what else? I am just about ready to hit 1 million page views here at my blog. It should happen later today, just about the time that Connie + I start our workshop! SERIOUSLY. ONE MILLION!!!!
Congrats! 1 millions is a wonderful number.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, my dear friend. I know that you 'get it' (hitting a milestone!) It happened earlier this evening!!

Congrats! I love that marshmallow art. My daughter is in pre-school and I bet her teacher would love this idea! Her teacher is much braver than I am. They paint daily. I bet she'd love this idea. Their entire week is themed around a letter. She could use this for Marshmallow. They could also do it for a winter theme! Thanks for the awesome idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the support! I'd LUV LUV LUV to see the outcome of your effort. Feel free to email me your outcome/variations on the idea and I'll include them here in an update.

Marshmallow painting is my favorite...I love to mallow paint snowmen in the winter. I am a new follower and can't wait to look all around your blog-looks like you have some really fun ideas! I hope you'll get a chance to visit my blog sometime...I'm hosting a holiday craft link-up right now. Congrats on 1 million views!

ReplyDeleteI love the idea of marshmallow painting! I've got a couple of bags in my file cabinet-- I think we'll try this soon!
AYN!!!!! It was so AWESOME to have the opportunity to meet, hug, share time, and brainstorm. Wish there had been more hours. We will have to continue to plot and plan for our next get together!
