Just before we left Door County, I had a chance to pop into Peninsula Preschool for a heartbeat. Take a look at what I found. Mizz Leslie has such brilliant systems to help her amazing program give the children routines for independence. These two DIY (do-it-yourself) 'bulletin boards' help with the attendance routine and the job assignments for the day.
Up above she has every child's large-sized photo in a flower inset and then laminated, with velcro on the back. The bulletin board on the wall has flower backgrounds awaiting with the other side of the velcro. You arrive at school, pick up your photo-face from the floor and add your flower-face-photo to the blooming garden of friends. KUDOS!!
Next up is her helper chart and the job assignments for the day.
One more peek at some 'decorated storage' in Leslie's room.
