Reggio Field Trip Crew

Here's the official "farewell" photograph in the Reggio parking-lot just prior to our departure for Camp Darby, outside of Pisa. These are the Vicenza teachers and crew who came along to learn something new, see other methods, and reinforce the good that is already underway at our own "American" sites that are situated in Italy. There weren't even a couple of minutes for me to de-brief with them and compare observations and insights.

Another trip I'd like to make a whole adventure out of going to Reggio schools and submerging into the Arts culture in some of the more 'established' sites. We were able to see two programs in our day's journey, but both buildings on our mini-tour were absolutely brand sparkling new. It would be so insightful to compare the shiny  brand new with the older, long-term programs.

I am so filled with gratitude regarding this day's efforts..... the 'getting found' and catching up with our hosts being at the very top of the list. Seeing another comparison of how things can be done is always helpful. Thanks again, from the bottom of my heart, to Arlana for making all of the arrangements for this day of professional development -- for this day of dreams coming true.
