Table Cloth Painted by Toddlers to Celebrate: Month of the Military Child!!

Toddler Baby Friends in Bibs!!!!

Army Daddy in Uniform Helps Toddler Son: Painting on the Fence!!

Rainbow Ribbons Add to the Dance Festivities

Army Base. Camp Darby, Italy. (Just outside of Pisa's learning tower -- RIGHT on the Mediterranean!)

Is there anything better than being invited to lunch with toddlers and their families? Is there anything better than a toddler party? Is there anything better than a well orchestrated toddler-celebration? Is there anything more amazing than seeing parents in their military uniform, interacting 'parental-ly'  -- with love & adoration-- with their toddlers? Is there anything more superlative than seeing a woman in uniform giving her toddler a bottle? [Editors note: this is actually a bottle of expressed breast milk, made more publicly 'easy' for delivery..... so let the superlatives resound.]

Is there anything more amazing that ME being invited to Europe to sing my songs with children of our troops stationed abroad? Follow your heart. Follow your dreams. Follow your rainbow!!!!!!

Sunshine. Toddlers. Devoted parents. Music. Rainbow streamers. Baby friends. Uniforms. Nibbles of delight. Outdoor painting upon the fence!!!!!! Remind yourselves that these photos are taken a heart-beat from the Mediterranean shore. What a day for celebration. Celebration, indeed! Month-of-the-Military-Child. CHEERS!! Having the opportunity to observe AND participate -- supporting the children of our troops? PRICELESS!!

PreK + K Sharing

**This post has been added, very much after the fact to the very first Linkie party ever at PreK+K Sharing!
I've added this to Amy's amazing article on all things 'paint' to share a close-up of the idea of stretching your paper over the playground fence and using those large muscles of the arm, for the extended easel. I may have some other pictures of the 'painting on the fence-process' I'll go look in my memory card to see. Click the button to go back to the linkie party of painting ideas!
