"Why do writers write? Because it isn't there." -- Thomas Berger
When we take the time to write, we afford ourselves the opportunity to share, to communicate, to remind, to inform, to persuade. Taking the time and energy to 'publish' another book is a big thrill indeed..... because it 'wasn't there' & now it is! Sharing it with ol' teacher friends and hearing their exclaimations of enthusiasm and support is an amazing feeling. Especially so, in that the book was so long in its 'birthing' process. It's a mixture of euphoria and delight -- as they express their pride in my efforts.
Can you see the sign language for "Tall Giraffe" in the first picture.... and for brown & spotted, polka-dotted in the second. What an exciting opportunity to share. I'm so grateful for the invitation, Hazel. Thanks.
