How appropo that I'm starting a new 'quiltlet' for my picture book, "Red, White and Blue" during our national holiday of celebrating all things American. While we popped thru Ohio a few days ago, I picked up my patriotic fabrics and then jumped right to work out in my sunroom studio upon return. Here are the basic template pieces that I will eventually 'tessalate' into flagesque-pinwheels. Watch carefully and see how it all fits together!!
